During our last couple of days in Thailand on our South East Asia Mini Retirement last year we had the chance to experience something really remarkable. On the eastern side of the beautiful Koh Lanta we’ve stumble upon the exciting Monkey School. For a couple of hours we had the chance to play with various new friends including Tom Tom the yougster, the Old monkey, the Acrobat, the Jumper, the comedian and many other cheeky monkey. I never imagined it could be that fun. I strongly recommend visiting this school especially if you are with children.

About the Koh Lanta Monkey School
The Monkey School is situated on Klong Jark Beach on the northern east side of the Koh Lanta islands. It is closely located to the island’s main pier and is close to the national park further south and to the Klong Jark waterfalls. The school can be visited anytime during opening hours (for a small fee) , but it is best to experience the amazing monkey shows where they will guarantee to amuse when not only picking coconuts but also biking, dancing and even playing basketball. The school has 4 shows a day, two in the morning at 9 and 11 and two in the afternoon at 2 and 4. The price of the tickets are 250 BHT and half price for children.
