Marble Arch: impressive white marble triumphal arch

Discover Marble Arch one of central London’s key landmarks, a 19th-century triumphal arch in white marble, located at junction of Oxford Street, Bayswater Road and Park Lane, on the Northern East Edge of Hyde Park.  It was design in 1827 by John Nash to be the state entrance to the Cour d’honneur of Buckingham palace, and was later relocated to its current location in the 60s.
