Discover Tavistock Square a public square located in the heart of Bloomsbury within the London Borough of Camden. A statue of Mahatma Gandhi, sculpted by Fredda Brilliant and installed in 1968 is the gardens centre-piece. Tavistock Square was originally developed on the estate owned by the Dukes of Bedford in the 1820s. It is also home to a fabulous cherry tree planted in 1967 in memory of Hiroshima victims.
